The Berkeley Apartments

Built in 1926 and located in a prominent position at the start of Queens Promenade, The Berkeley is ideally placed for all that the Fylde coast has to offer, with both bus and tram stops just outside the building.

The Berkeley comprises 11 individually designed, fully furnished and equipped en-suite apartments, accommodating from 2 to 7 guests, and each affording wonderful sea views.

There’s a ground floor apartment suitable for guests with limited mobility. Our ground floor and first floor apartments are dog-friendly, so The Berkeley is a perfect holiday choice, with the beach right on the doorstep for taking your dog on long, leisurely walks.

Each apartment comprises a fully fitted kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, microwave, full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher.  All crockery, cutlery and utensils supplied, as well as welcome tea/coffee/sugar, fresh milk and biscuits. 

Tea towel, dishcloth, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets are provided as standard.

Bedding and towels are provided. Extra blankets are available on request. Each apartment is furnished with iron/ironing board, hair dryer and desk fan. The radiators are supplied from gas central heating and all have individual thermostatic controls for you to set as you please.

Weekly servicing of the apartments, including fresh linen and towels, is standard for longer staying guests, and daily housekeeping is available on request.

A laundry room, sun lounge, front patio and rear courtyard are also available for all our guests to use.

A designated car space is available for each apartment, subject to availability, and is free to guests who book directly with us, either via our website or by telephone.

Accessibilitat

The entrance into The Berkeley has no steps leading up to the front door from Queens Promenade. We have three apartments on the ground floor (001, 002 and 003) which prove very popular with our guests who have limited mobility. Apartment 002 (with 1 x twin bedroom) is particularly suitable for wheelchair users as it has wider doors for easier access. The shower room has grab rails, an emergency pull cord and a shower seat. To any guest who may have a hearing impairment, we can offer a basic level of communication in the use of British Sign Language.
